Vanessa Njos -FounderAfter eighteen months of sobriety from alcohol, someone deeply important to me experienced a relapse and lost their life far too soon. That loss changed my family forever. It also deepened my understanding that recovery is not a single decision or a completed treatment episode. It is an ongoing process that needs safety, consistency, connection, and support.
Pillar Stone Recovery Residence was created in his honor and for every person still fighting for a different future. It provides adult men with a stable, substance-free home where they can strengthen their recovery, practice accountability, rebuild trust, and move toward independent living.
This residence does not replace treatment. It helps bridge the transition from treatment to full independence by providing daily structure, peer connection, and support for the next chapter.

Pillar Stone brings together two parts of my life that have taught me the most about people, resilience, responsibility, and rebuilding.
Counseling foundation
I hold a masters degree in counseling and have spent years supporting young people and families through challenges, transitions, and growth.
Behavioral health experience
My work in behavioral health and substance-use treatment settings has included recovery support, group facilitation, crisis response, and care for people at vulnerable turning points.

A safe home matters, but so do dignity, belonging, clear expectations, and the belief that change remains possible. Pillar Stone is a peer-supported mens recovery residence in Littleton, Colorado, created to offer all of those things together.
The name reflects the heart of the mission: strength, permanence, faith, and a solid foundation on which a new life can be built.
